Company Profile

Linden Preservation Services, Inc., is an international leader in the application of material science and research to the built cultural heritage sector, with a background in materials preservation, energy-efficient operation of buildings and mechanical systems, preventive conservation practices and strategies, and strategic planning for collections environments.  We provide sustainable preservation services and consulting to the cultural heritage sector, including museums, libraries, archives, parks, records centers, and allied organizations.

Jeremy Linden has two decades of experience in the cultural heritage field, focusing on preservation and sustainability.  He was formerly the Senior Preservation Environment Specialist at the Image Permanence Institute in Rochester, NY, and the Head of Archives and Special Collections at the State University of New York at Fredonia.  This, combined with a decade of experience in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) field, allows him to offer a unique perspective of the holistic operation of built environments for both preservation and sustainability.  He has been sought out as a preservation and building operation expert, has taught and presented extensively both nationally and internationally, and has served on a number of professional and standards committees, including work with the International Standards Organization, the American Society for Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, and the Society of American Archivists.
